All Ecoserve cleaning staff is trained in accordance with BICSc guidelines and is intended to set an objective standard for the training of operators and for assessing their skills in any of the sectors of the cleaning industry.
Thus an operative who has been awarded the certificate may be regarded as being fully trained with a range of skills applicable in a wide range of situations.
All staff receive Health and Safety in the work place training, and regular refresher courses to encourage best practices. Further training is conducted at site level with regular tool box (Safety First package) talks ensuring safe working practices are adopted.
The Company aims to provide training and progressive opportunities to all employees by:
- An induction program and training for new employees prior to them working on client’s premises. Further “on-the-job” training will be conducted by the immediate supervisor or Area Manager.
- Enough assistance to all staff settling into their new role/job.
- A progressive training and development scheme to enable staff to develop relevant skills and acquire knowledge to underpin their current role and career aspirations.
